@honeydesiree__@Leah_Boutique@MasinElije They are not specific, though, nor are they a new phenomenon to the show or social discourse. Her saying things from last season is just a side effect of pop culture and the popularity of the show. Recently, I started using 'give me ten,' which I didn't use two weeks ago."
@honeydesiree__@Leah_Boutique@MasinElije Literally everyone since last season has been saying this isn't a friendship or pity island. It's the same way Mel said that women who feel the need to call themselves a 'girl's girl' aren't actually true girl's girls, because they watched the show. Not everything is a conspiracy
@ErlineP@ResistanceSean It's not that they are trying to excuse horrible things in the hope that people who voted for Trump will support them, but they still haven't learned that just because you are a white man doesn't mean those voters will back you. It will make them double down I their beliefs.
Congratulations to @XavierBecerra. I am excited to offer him all the support I can as he sets out to become our stateโs next governor.
This race has featured a large field with many strong candidates, and I am confident that our party will now unite behind Xavier and his calm, steady brand of leadership.
I have been fortunate to see firsthand how Xavier never shies away from the biggest fights, whether it was taking on the drug companies as Secretary of Health and Human Services or going after sex traffickers and big polluters as Californiaโs Attorney General. I know as Governor, he will do whatever it takes to stand up to Donald Trump, defend our rights, and protect our communities.
I look forward to standing with Xavier as California makes history by electing our first Latino governor in 150 years.
