CeeJ and I have diverged on some things but 100% agree here.

After coming up with a great solution to push more horses back into paid racing (whether accidentally or purposely) and make racing interesting again, ZED decides to erase all but the strongest C4/C5 horses 🤦‍♂️

@UnrecruitedPod Very unlikely for the foreseeable future. But I could be intrigued if 1) it's a Z8 or Z9 with 2) some solid Naka lineage and 3) not completely dependent on distance preference for its win rate

@SN_Stables @bg_alt @bamontesracing That's what a 20 class point starting gap for the last year will do to you😆. Most Z5s will have to run 40+ races to have an average class of 2 or higher (there's only 1 in existence with more than 4 races and less than 40)

@NewportStables Been talking about benchmark horses since September but that doesn't change the fact that we still need another horse stat that helps rank horses within fields. Benchmark horses are only directional unless you're burning through cash running multiple races against them

@painted_poniez @ZedChateaux @cortez_crypto @bg_alt There were 382 Gs on Wednesday alone, so that's 4,500+ horses just from Wednesday. And the data from yesterday suggests another 250-300 Gs, but it's just 6-8 hours of data. I'd guess 12K horses+ competing for the tournament when all is said and done
