Most of the time when it comes to OC work I don't expect anyone to care enough to think about/notice anything subtle that I do ever, so I always explain everything intricate I do just so someone will know. Which makes it unsubtle but I can't help it ๐ญ๐ญ /nm
This makes them much easier to kill. Usually demons have a pretty good pain tolerance, but not with that shit. Even a demon touching the blade with bare hands feels like a "burn" or a shock for lack of a better term.

The way I imagine demon hunting weapons working is like. Yeah you could kill a demon with a normal knife and that's all good and dandy, but stabbing a demon with like, a demon hunter dagger basically cripples them. The pain is so immense they can barely move. +

Man most demons usually live in a really. Really hot climate (hell). So 9/10 of them absolutely hate the cold. Them bitches shiver so bad they can barely think when it's snowing.

I am impulse changing it so Vanellope has to wear gloves to hold the demon slaying dagger she uses to kill Cora. I like the idea that there /is/ alot of merit to the demon slaying weapons and how they actually do hurt demons alot more than normal weapons. Poggers
all he's ever known? We also talked about this side plot where he tries a different job and the funny senarios that would ensue. Canon? Maybe ๐ณ (ofc it comes back to yes, he enjoys being an idol but it's a nice mini arc I think)
๐ถ KT3 ๐ถ
How have I only recently started exploring the mental toll of being created to be idols on the KT3 members ?? LOL ?? It's an obvious character beat !
For Steven I just took his already poor self esteem and retroactively explained it as the idol thing, but my friend +
jokingly brought up the idea of Brendon struggling with a type of extensional crisis after a conversation with Steven and Allison post-return KT3 concert and it's genius. Because like. Brendon's whole life he's only ever been an idol- does he actually enjoy it or is it just +
He gets over this eventually, but for awhile it gives him alot of heartache for the time he missed with them. He tells himself he shouldn't be upset since it was his fault this happened anyway, but that doesn't stop the vague.. jealousy, if that's the right word.
๐ถKT3๐ถ
I like to think that after KT3 meets up again and all that, Brendon, for awhile, feels semi-isolated when seeing how incredibly close Steven and Allison got. The inside jokes, the shared hardship and memories... all stuff he wasn't in their lives for. +
