The most concerning part is people either have short memories or just don't know Battlefields history.
We went through a terrible beta and launch with BF3.
EA said they learned from their mistakes, and it wouldn't happen again.
Happened again with an even worse and more buggy launch of BF4. Was terrible for a year or so.
We got CTE, which saved the game and franchise. Everything was polished and fixed, including gunplay and netcode. The game and franchise was never in better shape.
BF1 has a beta, and it's flawless. Game launches in amazing shape. WW1 wasn't for everyone but the game was insanely well done.
BFV beta hits and bugs galore. No audio, invisible players, and countless other issues. Game launches, not in good shape and does terrible.
2042 beta hits and it's a disaster. Launch hits and nothing changed. Absolute shambles.
IF Battlefield didn't gaslight us and fumble launches at such a high rate I would be less vocal and concerned. But, the game clearly has a history of being rushed and a hot mess and Im tired as a BF fan of being misled and or lied to.
2042 and BFV both were colossal failures in both sales and player base.
Battlefield 6 needs to hit out the gate. Not be searching for an identity or having slop for gunplay, etc. It needs to be a solid core BF experience.
