To support our vibrant mobile retail ecosystem during ongoing global supply chain and economic shifts, the Government of India has launched the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS 5.0) . This is a significant opportunity for our community to inject direct liquidity into business operations without stretching existing assets.

If your business operates with an active Cash Credit (CC) or Overdraft (OD) account, you can step forward immediately to secure this critical support.

Key Features of ECLGS 5.0:

Additional Funding: Eligible businesses can secure an immediate, collateral-free additional working capital loan of up to 20% of their peak fund-based working capital utilization during the fourth quarter of FY 2025-26 (January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026).

No Collateral Required: You do not need to provide any additional property, residential assets, or physical security to avail of this top-up.

Comfortable Repayment Window: The total loan tenure spans 5 years, which includes a 1-year moratorium period where zero principal repayment is required, giving your business ample breathing room to grow.

Interest Cap: Concessional lending interest rates are capped at 9% p.a. for banks and financial institutions, keeping your borrowing costs low.

Strict Eligibility : Your current OD/CC accounts must be categorized as 'Standard' (non-NPA and excluding SMA-2 category) as of March 31, 2026.

JUSTICE SERVED FOR OUR BROTHERS ⚖️📱

Today, the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has delivered a landmark judgment in the tragic Sathankulam custodial torture case, sentencing 9 former policemen to death.

The brutal loss of our fellow mobile retailers, P. Jayaraj and J. Beniks, in 2020 was a dark day for the entire retail fraternity. They were honest businessmen who lost their lives to an unthinkable abuse of power.

A Legacy of Unity and Support
From the very beginning, the mobile retail community stood as one. In a historic demonstration of unity, mobile phone shop owners across Tamil Nadu shut down their stores to protest this injustice.

Beyond the fight for legal justice, our fraternity stepped up to support the grieving family:

* The Madurai District Mobile Dealers Association, alongside distributors, company employees, and high-ranking officials, raised a total fund of ₹4,10,000.

* Our leaders, including President Jyothi Basu, Deputy Secretary Akmal, Executive Committee Member Rajendra Kumar, and Distributors Association President Mr. Babu (Sunshine Group), personally visited the family to present a cheque of ₹3,85,000, with the remaining ₹25,000 sent subsequently.

Our Stance
While no verdict or financial aid can fill the void left in their family, this sentence sends a powerful message: No one is above the law. AIMRA stands in eternal solidarity with the family of Jayaraj and Beniks. We salute their courage and the relentless pursuit of justice by the legal system and the CBI. Retailers are the backbone of our economy and deserve respect and safety. We hope this judgment serves as a deterrent to ensure such horrors never happen to another citizen or shopkeeper again.
