People think opportunities come from luck.
Most times, they're just a function of time.
The longer you stay in the game, the more people know your name.
The more you practise, the better your work becomes.
The more you show up, the more trust you build.
Your chances of landing opportunities are directly proportional to the amount of time you spend consistently improving and putting yourself out there.
Most people quit too early, then conclude there are no opportunities.
Stay long enough, get good enough, and eventually you'll become difficult to ignore.

4 years ago, this was all just a dream that seemed so impossible.
Nearly dropped out of secondary school because of resources, no graduation, no WAEC, nothing.
Went into the streets of Aba, locked in and came back 2 years later to pursue this degree.
Made my WAEC in one sitting..
Wrote JAMB twice
And UNN said, let’s have it.
Gradually, one day became TODAY🥹
Not a first class but a first degree 🤭

We just concluded a successful product launch for a client, and this is how we did it step by step.
First, here’s a backstory:
The client chatted with me to let me know they had just added a new product to their website and that we should try to incorporate campaigns in the coming weeks to promote it.
And I screamed, “Hell no!!! Not under my watch!”
I told him to kindly take the product down so we could do a proper launch for it.
It is their first time working with an agency, so they didn’t know much…
So, the first thing we did was prime the audience.
This is non-negotiable when launching a product. You want to build anticipation.
We used plain-text emails (the audience is elderly, and they engage with these a lot) and also designed emails.
For weeks, we kept saying a new product was coming.
This was a product they had been requesting for a very long time, so the enthusiasm was through the roof.
And as the launch date got closer, we started dropping more hints.
We mentioned the ingredients in the product without mentioning its name.
Now, here’s an important part: since the product wasn’t live, one might ask, “What URL were we sending them to?”
Although you could create a waitlist for launches like this, we didn’t.
All we did was end each email with CTAs like:
“Shop X while Y is on the way.”
Smart, yeah? Yes!!!
And guess what? Each of the teaser emails was generating revenue.
Now, back to what we did.
We also changed the header banner to reflect the launch. This became the first thing someone saw when they opened an email.
And as the launch date got closer, we started a countdown:
5 days to go.
3 days to go.
It’s tomorrow.
It’s live.
To say the launch was a success would be an understatement.
So, if you’re an e-commerce brand owner, never just add a new product to your website and expect sales to happen.
Although it might happen...
But what happens if you instead build anticipation for it?
My guess?
You’d get better results.
