@RedPanda_why@H0NK_WD yeah, blue is not the color you "have" to run for a specific effect at all in cedh, which is the only real consultation format (as this is much worse than thoracle in doomsday or w/e), really weird take
@R_Testas@rubenramirezbio por lo que vi es peor, sí incluye porteros pero no incluye directamente las defensas. y aun asi ellos se quedan mejor que mbappe
@wwtawwta_bruh@mbf3945@AbiShuuwi i'm not in econ at all and dont care about gmu, but why would entering and leaving a "joke program" be a positive signal? surely a candidate should have looked into programs before and realized not to go to a joke program?
@brunellaism@drumm_colin maybe i'm too serendipity-pilled, but i really think that the dumb, pointless stuff is what got me to the thing i wish i had started earlier, and so i couldn't really have started it earlier, as i would be also dumber and less capable of processing it
@LiminalRite@spiderplant_s@daniel_lefferts that's how i'm reading it and it feels pretty easy! when the footnotes refer to other footnotes it's harder but i don't think the ebook has anything to do with it
@HotCross_@hiroshishou_ dragons are definitely good sleeves. there's a lot of personal preference re: "better" sleeves but dragons are definitely good enough if you're not doing p9 or whatever. personally i've improved my shuffling by trying to make it more effortless, put less force on the card corners
@chaboi192469@cory_caster in commander, you can only designate one legendary creature as your commander (which decides the colors of your deck). "partner" means: if you pick two legendary creatures with "partner", both can be your commander
@AidanCossi12438@LemorasCards maybe i'm misremembering, but i think i saw "semi blue" in the context of like, kinnan but unironically trying to cheat big monsters etc, instead of playing the best cards ever
@HRpufnsting@libbysalt if decks are evenly matched, people will gang up on the person who suddenly played sol ring into signet into dork on turn 1, and it's on that person to use their mana to actually win. but these losers want a ~75% winrate in a 4-person format
@PetreRaleigh a "tenured" prof would not show up for her classes a lot and then tell students the make-up was my period. the school was particular on attendance, so i thought about complaining abt absences, but thought i would lose. just didn't see some people for 1/3 of the semester
@namwalien thank you so much! my anecdote is that i would (barely) understand the words themselves and then google the broader significance, only to find "explanations" that were basically rewording the plain words. maybe that's why ppl claim its "easy" - this scene is about smoke etc
@namwalien could you please expand on what you mean by double first person? it has been a while since I read the book and I'm finding your observations to be fascinating
