Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, received the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, ahead of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s planned commissioning of a completed section of the Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano highway.

A 30.58-kilometre section, stretching from Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital to Karfi, along with other sections of Kunkumi, will also be commissioned.

Kano-based tailor Abdulkadir Hassan has completed a 120 hour sewing marathon in a bid to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest sewing marathon.

Throughout the five day challenge, Hassan made school uniforms for underprivileged children, turning his record attempt into an effort to support education and give back to his community.

KANO TAILOR SEEKS GUINNESS WORLD RECORD FOR NON-STOP SEWING

A Kano-based tailor, Abdulkadir Hassanul Basari, is attempting to set up a new Guinness World Record for non-stop sewing.

Basari began the challenge on Wednesday and is expected to conclude it on Monday night.
