Fully agree with @KanwalSibal. We have the misfortune that sections of our society which neither wants to understand what Pakistan wants from India nor wants to learn from experience that whenever in difficulty Pakistan begins to prod our stargazers to talk of dialogue and peace. Pakistan will not change its mindset and policy. The Field Marshall reminded us of this. Islamic and jihadis he said. Our current policy of ignoring Pakistan and otherwise dealing with transgressions is doing well and we should carry on the same way.
Lurid Orientalism?
American media often refer to the BJP as “Hindu nationalists,” but rarely describe Republicans as “Christian nationalists,” even as the relationship between the Republican Party and Christian nationalism has shifted from a quiet alliance to a central pillar of the party’s identity and policy agenda. Recent surveys by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) find that a majority of Republicans are now either “adherents” or “sympathizers” of Christian nationalism.
This reluctance to label the GOP “Christian nationalist” reflects Western self-image. To do so would be to acknowledge that the United States is not an “enlightened, secular” state, but one where religious identity is a primary driver of power — much like the systems the West often scrutinizes in the East through Edward Said’s lens of Orientalism.
In the Western imagination, Eastern politics is often cast as inherently religious or tribal.
The media’s reluctance to apply the same labels at home has, in effect, enabled Christian nationalism to grow by allowing it to operate under the ostensibly “neutral” banner of conservatism. This has, ominously, helped fuel racial bigotry. https://t.co/xKXZ9LTwLK
Pakistan moving against UN-designated terrorist organisations with bricks and mortar HQ's, social media accounts, media studios, and madrassas would also help.
If we are serious about helping foster a culture of peace, we have to address mass casualty terrorism.
I NEED NON BENGALIS TO STFU ABOUT BENGAL AND THE PEOPLE'S DECISION. YOU DIDN'T FACE WHAT WE DID, YOU DIDN'T FEEL THE FEAR WHAY WE DID, YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO RUN AWAY OUT OF THE STATE FOR JOB OR EDUCATION. STOP GIVING US LECTURES FROM OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE WE DON'T NEED YOUR OPINION
It is a total coincidence that "Cafe Farah" that our Leader of Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji visited in Oman is operated by Al Zaman Hospitality LLC, owned by one Mr Khalid Zaman
Cafe is located in diplomatic area of Muscat
Khalid Zaman, the owner of the cafe, also sits on the board of another company called BlueFive Capital where a Chinese national Fang Fenglei also sits
Fang is Chairman of company called Hopu Investments, he is son of a People’s Liberation Army officer, and personal friend of Chinese Communist Party Vice President Wang Qishan
Anyways seems to be a total coincidence, we should allow people to enjoy their personal time
@vjamritraj@yaashbhardwaj@Tushar15 Have you ever visited the borders ? I live in bengal so shut your bitch ass up . This vote directly impacts our livelihood in this state.
Nowadays, these MFs are pushing an agenda like "Narendra-Surrender", that is why I am resurfacing this article, so that Gen-Z can know who the real "SURRENDER" was.
The guy who had his book banned and life changed under a non BJP government in 1988 is talking about how freedom is curbed under BJP because his journalist friends told him. His book got unbanned in 2024 when BJP is in power and they did not oppose unbanning his book. This is the kind of dishonest propaganda that gets fed constantly without any evidence. Freedom never existed in India and Salman Rushdie is a lair and a bad analyst.
Canada harbors terrorists of all sorts and applauds nazis inside the parliament. First fix the fucking Hamas terrorists and Khalistanis in Canada. Stop legitimizing terrorists in Canada and then go around preaching.
Kolkata cafes be like, "A timeless ambience harking back to a bygone era when life was slow, where every crack in the wall, every scratch on the wood tells a different tale of nostalgia..." BSDK safaai kar le!!
