@marks298933@Liquid_Times Tax cuts for landlords, billion dollar roads, asset sales, bashing beneficiaries and Maori - they are still goodies. Just goodies for greedy selfish people
@henrycooke@brendon_harre It’s bad for nationals budget. But isn’t it a good thing - emitters are using up all their old stockpiled cheap units and/or they aren’t emitting as much as they planned? Eventually they’ll run out of the old ones and will have to cut emissions or pay for expensive new ones?
@Dumbas61007425@markothoughts Waikato alone is >0.5 million people plus the rest of the North Island. It cost 2.5billion.
Northland is 200k total population. This first part of the road only is going to cost 4billion.
@GonesailingNZ@ClintVSmith Well then gas users can pay for the terminal by themselves fully then.
But national have been selling the terminal as an electricity dry year back up, and is making every electricity user pay for it. solar and batteries will do this job better and cheaper.
@ChalynRugby There’s no patience in the gameplan.
If we haven’t made a line break in 2-3 phases it seems they’ve been coached to put up a kick. Need to build pressure with ball in hand. The old forwards need to go forward so backs don’t go backwards
@SamG_MCI @Jordan_Patu It wasn’t even super rugby. Look at the game plans of the canes, blues, even chiefs (for most of the year) it was keep the ball in hand.
Razors team is like if we haven’t made a line break in 2-3 phases try a stupid kick.
There’s no patience in the game plan.
@Eastandbays Have you seen how many people don’t get their Wof or rego now?
Add RUCs onto the cost and a lot more will just avoid it.
Unless they massively up the fine for driving a unwarranted/unrego car or even loss of licence.
@alnoz99@TheRugbyPaper@thepaulwilliams Refs don’t ref mauls properly is the problem. Don’t penalise the lifters becoming blockers in front of the jumper before they’ve landed.
@craig_farndale@dbseymour Open classes were a big push during the Key national government. Not some mega-socialist idea, more likely just to save building costs by building 1 big classroom vs 3 classrooms.
@alanahisrugby@rugby_ap Tackle school should be compulsory for any player carded or banned for a dangerous tackle it shouldn’t be a way to reduce the ban
@JGood_96 @TampaBayTre Can defenders bind up together? Like everyone’s saying LBs can’t push DL from behind. But can 2 DL not bind together side by side like in rugby? Much harder to move 2 people supporting each other at point of attack, easier to move 2 individuals by themselves.
@JoseMoonraker @AynRandy666 Except our royalties are not hefty. Increase them and jones might have a point that mining some of our doc land will benefit nz. But as they stand it’s privatise the profits and socialise the clean up costs.
