...when gate agents came couldn't fig out how to connect jet bridge. Deplaned w/ 5 min to get on connection b4 gate closed 45 gates away.

@united Best safety and protocol is to notify passengers prior to boarding. There is no reason to sit at the gate for an hour on a plane.
