This one is tricky, but the answer is yes.

Rek'sai's ability reveals Atakhan, and says you can play him to this battlefield. Choosing where to play Atakhan occurs before you pay costs, therefore you can play Atakhan to that battlefield even though Atakhan sends Rek'sai to Jesus.

Theres a lot of things that are hard to believe but are still true.

Theres a million and a half things you have to take into account lest your card breaks the game, and even tiny changes can make the difference between a card that is unplayable, and a card that is broken.
