Look What We Did Together in California - PBM Reform!
California Governor Gavin Newsom signed Senate Bill 41 (SB 41) into law in October 2025 to increase regulation over Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs)!
The new law is designed to lower prescription drug costs and increase patient choice by reforming the practices of pharmaceutical middlemen.
This is a victory for Californians, creating a more transparent prescription drug system that will, over time, make medications more affordable.
