A speed trial was conducted by the CRS, NF Circle today on the newly constructed double-line sections between Katihar-Kuretha and Katihar-Sonaili under the Katihar-Kumedpur and Katihar-Mukuria New Double Line Projects in the Katihar Division of NFR. The trial was undertaken to assess the operational safety, stability and overall readiness of these sections prior to their commissioning.

Acting promptly on information regarding the theft of diesel oil from Railway Power Car at Guwahati Railway Station today, RPF team of Guwahati successfully apprehended four culprits.

During the operation, 25 litres of stolen diesel oil were recovered from their possession.

All four arrested accused persons are being produced before the Hon’ble SRM Court, Guwahati, today for judicial proceedings.

Flagged off the Pune–Sainagar Shirdi daily train service, along with Maharashtra CM Shri @Dev_Fadnavis Ji. It is the first direct train connecting Pune and Shirdi.
