Appreciate the Tamil Nadu Government’s decision to reduce VAT on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), a welcome step for the aviation sector. Thank you to Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru @TVKVijayHQ for this initiative.

Making air travel more affordable requires the Centre and States to work together. Our shared priority must always be the passengers.

[Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu @RamMNK]

A welcome move by the Goa Government under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister @DrPramodPSawant Ji to bring down ATF VAT to 7%.

Lower fuel costs can support airlines, strengthen connectivity and give a further boost to Goa’s tourism sector. Steps like these put passengers and the growth of aviation first.

On 21 October 2016, Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji launched UDAN with a revolutionary vision to strengthen air connectivity in unserved and underserved regions.

10 years later, India stands as the world's 3rd-largest domestic aviation market, with operational airports increasing from 74 in 2014 to 166!

From UDAN airports like Darbhanga in Bihar, Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh, Deoghar in Jharkhand and Kishangarh in Rajasthan, air connectivity has reached Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, linking remote regions to the national network and opening new doors for tourism, trade and local enterprise.

With historic outlay of ₹28,840 crore under Modified UDAN, we are taking this mission further with 100 more airports and 200 modern helipads in the next 10 years!

As India moves towards Viksit Bharat @2047, Pawan Hans has a crucial role to play in the future of connectivity.

With 250+ civilian helicopters today and demand projected to cross 1,000, the opportunity is huge. I also see Pawan Hans leading the way in seaplanes, eVTOLs, drones and next generation air mobility.
