@myheartabird I also have difficulty summarising, anytime I try to Briefly(!) outline a scene I usually end up adding more & more until it's basically a draft.

@myheartabird I write out of order (linear rarely works) & have a [very]basic frame.

It helps me focus if I work in easy bites and fit the unpolished pieces together, like its a giant (ever-changing) puzzle.
Also jumping to&fro in the timeline means if I'm ever stuck I just move elsewhere.
