Today, we wrapped up the 10-day Training of Trainers (TOT) for RARICO members. Participants shared a recap of what they learned. They expressed excitement about using the skills gained in their work. Finally, everyone received a certificate of accomplishment.

Live: ten cooperative members certified as Master trainers in effective cooperative governance and management, audit and business planning @ricem. They had 10 days of training and are ready to disseminate the acquired knowledge to the livestock farmers especially cooperatives.

Today at MINAGRI, a workshop was held to validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tilapia hatcheries. Participants at the meeting include managers of fish hatcheries in Rwanda, fish and aquaculture sector stakeholders, experts, investors, and researchers among others.

Today in @RwamaganaDistr, the Deputy Director General for Animal Resources Development, Dr @solangeuwituze, officiated a 4-day training session on standard operating procedures(SOPs) for fish hatchery in Rwanda.

The training that convened government officials, farmers and development partners in fish farming aims to explore the content of SOPs and modality of implementation, exploring inspection procedures for the compliance of implementation of SOPs, among other topics.

Opening the training, Dr. @solangeuwituze appreciated the event attendees for their contribution to fishery development. She further urged them to work relentlessly to meet the government target of 127,000Mt of fish production by 2035.
