Hello new followers! Allow me to introduce my journey. Spent most my life as a crash dieting weight yoyo. ~7yrs ago I dropped 1/4 my body weight and have maintained it since. My current focus is low carb and lifting for symptom management of recently diagnosed health conditions.
@hcfountain I have no idea if I'm subscribed or if I am which email I would have used, so I'm going to go sign up just to make sure my bases are covered, lol.
There is ZERO breeze in this backyard today. Even the very tops of the trees are perfectly still. As if I didn't already hate walking lunges enough, this is just sealing the deal.
I don't understand the reluctance towards natural health interventions. Dad has been sick, I offered him zinc, vit c, and elderberry tea and he turned them all down. Mom also declined and now she's sick too. But if either were given antibiotics, they'd take them without question.
@DoNotComply23 I'm a Ryobi gal, which I feel is perfectly acceptable when it's all just landscaping equipment for maintaining my parents' house. I joke that I'm their groundskeeper who lives on site.
@CarloItalo1234@Floridagirl0850 I feel like it's location specific. I know people who get 93/7 at Costco, but the one my parents shop at has only ever had it once. I only shop/cook for me though, and my fridge/freezer is a 3/4 size, so bulk stores with paid memberships aren't a particularly reasonable option.
Oh, hey, hi. In case you're new here: following me, filtering through my media tab and liking a bunch of old pictures, then commenting on my boobs in a completely benign photo of me fully clothed with a cute dog is a surefire way to get yourself blocked. kthanxbye
@nickcpicks The Costco near me rarely has 93/7 ground beef. I had a Sam's membership for a while and part of the reason I canceled it was because ground beef and egg whites were constantly out of stock, and those are 2 of the few items I actually eat enough to justify buying in bulk.
@Floridagirl0850 I've been eating a lot more ground chicken lately, not because I particularly care for it, but when it's half the price it makes more sense as a staple protein with ground beef just a couple times a week.
@IronAngabel For real though. It's like my mom being upset that her doctor didn't "just put her on blood pressure meds sooner" when his reason for waiting was because he was really trying to get her to try losing weight first before just throwing pills at it.
@BostonBiceps_ Yeah he just kinda laughed it off, but you could tell he had that same look of knowing I knew and hoping I would just be chill about it.
