The RAS Movement (Renovate A School Movement) is not here to replace elected officials, but to hold them accountable to fulfil their duties especially in ensuring quality education for Nigerian children.
# Core Mission
We empower citizens to identify and prioritize schools in dire need of renovation, pressuring authorities to act swiftly or face public consequences.
# Weekly Nomination Process
- Nominations open every Friday and close on Sunday.
- The public is invited to submit photos (with precise locations) of any primary or secondary school requiring urgent attention.
- One school is selected weekly through a transparent process and publicly announced.
# Activation Phase: Bringing RAS to Life
Upon selection:
1. We assess and document the key renovation needs (structural repairs, roofing, sanitation, furniture, etc.).
2. We formally notify and tag the relevant authorities (local government chairman, state officials, or federal representatives) with the findings and required interventions.
Authorities receive 7 days to demonstrate serious commitment by commencing critical repairs. (This timeline reflects the emergency nature of many dilapidated schools.)
# Possible Outcomes
1. Positive Outcome: Renovation begins and is completed within **60 days** → The school and officials receive public commendation from the RAS Movement.
2. Partial Progress: Work starts but stalls or remains incomplete after 60 days → We seek clarification, offer guidance/support where feasible, and monitor closely to help achieve completion.
3. No Action or Obstruction: If no meaningful steps are taken within 7 days, or if officials actively block/delay efforts:
- The RAS Movement initiates crowdfunding and community-led renovation.
- We activate the " Do Not Re-elect" campaign in the affected constituency, urging voters to hold the representative accountable at the polls.
# Our Resolve
Do not test the determination of the RAS Movement.
Fulfill your responsibilities—or we will step in to ensure our children's future is not compromised.
May God bless Nigeria and all who genuinely love her and fight for her progress, day and night.

@KevinblakC There is a clear need for increased accountability from both the government and those in positions of power within the nation. We commend @KevinblakC for consistently advocating for the appropriate solutions to the persistent challenges facing our esteemed Nigeria.
We @RASmovement007 appreciate your efforts in highlighting the systemic issues that disproportionately benefit a select few. The Renovate A School Movement strongly advocates for the principle that elected officials who fail to fulfill their primary responsibility of providing essential amenities should not be eligible for re-election.
Please follow @RASmovement007 to support a new direction of accountability and infrastructure revitalization for our nation.
We at Renovate A school movement are delighted to acknowledge the commendable efforts of a pioneering individual who is effectively utilizing intelligent public relations to engage with those in positions of authority. This initiative represents a truly noble endeavor.
Kudos @KevinblakC .

The Renovate A School (RAS) movement is a major campaign that will reshape the Nigerian educational landscape.
A plague to the inept, a glimmer of hope for the neglected.
This campaign is running on a profound principle: "We renovate; you don't re-elect."
Let's start a "Renovate A School" (RAS) movement.
People will nominate schools for renovation all over the country, and one will be picked randomly.
The chosen school will get renovated and crowdfunded.
Here's the catch: once a school is renovated by the public, the voters in that area have to promise to vote out the current representative (House of Representatives/chairman).
This will make elected officials pay attention and really push for changes in our education system.

This is a pivotal moment!
The Renovate a School Movement #RASmovement has officially launched.
Its success and continued viability are contingent upon collective engagement. (Follow, tag, share, like, and subscribe.) We are tasked with a clear objective: to highlight systemic deficiencies within the current educational framework and, critically, to hold those in authority accountable while articulating the essential characteristics of an effective educational institution to key stakeholders.
We encourage everyone who believes in transformative change to actively engage with our official presence at https://t.co/o8xfD5LXWa.
Please follow, share, and repost all content.
Please also nominate any school you consider due for renovation when calls for nominations begin.
Broad participation is essential to our mission.
The future rests in our collective hands.
We will be scanning.
We will be partnering.
And we will be unseating.
But we shall ensure at #RASmovement that if we renovate, you don't re-elect.
Welcome all, let's unleash and grow @RASmovement007
School nominations to begin soon.
