Where will I find you now? In the memories, our unspoken embraces, our missed phone calls, no, you’re forever in my heart. Deepest condolences to Sharon and all family members. RIP Sincere regrets to all the fans. Never goodbye. Thank you forever. Bill Ward
Goodbye dear friend - thanks for all those years - we had some great fun. 4 kids from Aston- who’d have thought, eh?
So glad we got to do it one last time, back in Aston.
Love you.
@JPercyTelegraph Incredibly short sighted with one striker who cant stay fit and one who is 33 at the end of the year. I dont think Wood can play straight up until January and Taiwo looks miles off fitness. A loan would mean we dont have to play false 9 if the inevitable injuries/fatigue hit us.
Enter Shikari, Download Festival 2024
REVIEW: It feels really fitting that a double rainbow paints itself across the sky as Enter Shikari are on stage today. An astonishing sight to behold, a shimmering reminder of the beauty that our planet is capable of, and an eternal unifier in a life where we are so often divided. All of those things could also be used to describe the band as well, to be honest, as they tear through a set that nods to every chapter of their story in thrilling fashion. The poetry and punishment of ‘System…’ and ‘…Meltdown’ hit like a freight train, the glitchy carnage of ‘The Void Stares Back’, with added Wargasm, has an extra hit of adrenaline to it and ‘Enter Shikari’ rolls back the years with plenty of hands chancing a grab at Rou Reynolds’ mic as the breakdowns hit. In their never-ending quest to open minds, challenge injustices and change perceptions, the band once again make huge strides on the biggest stage of them all, further securing their lofty position as one of the UK rock’s most invaluable assets.
