Collapsing buildings. Dilapidated infrastructure. Broken roads. Polluted air. Choked sewers.
With no funds and no accountability, either political or bureaucratic - India’s Urban Governance has become a complete nightmare.
It’s high time we start talking about it.
Today marks 8 years - 2,923 days of our father, Mr. Sanjiv Bhatt’s unjust incarceration.
2,923 days stolen from a life, a family, and a man who refused to surrender his conscience!
Corruption is not an issue anymore because everyone understands (and even respects) this basic human urge to hoard, to make more money. We even celebrate the top 15-20 billionaires of the nation as some sort of beacons of our culture and pride.
But what gets missed in this razzle-dazzle is that corruption is not just someone making extra money by bending rules - it also means those bent rules KILL people. In building fires, collapses, fake cancer medicines, adulterated foods, drunk driving, and a hundred other ways.
Corruption actually means someone making money by murdering people, murdering us.

The most gracious, elegant, respected and credible person in hindi news tv for years! She made foreign affairs accessible to all and is exactly what TV needs. @NaghmaSahar will be missed on screen 💕
In Unnao, during an event, the national anthem was being played.
UP Assembly Speaker from the ruling party simply walked away.
Now the question is simple.
How many channels will hold a debate on this insult to the national anthem?
This is the classic selective outrage of Godi media.
When an opposition party takes a principled stand on Vande Mataram , rooted in historical consensus , the entire machinery of Godi media and the ruling party erupts in manufactured rage.
But when the Speaker of a state belonging to a rulling party openly disrespects the national anthem, there is pin-drop silence.
Hypocrisy has never been quieter.
🚨Skeptical of the Cockroach Janta Party?
(fair enough - especially given how IAC ended up)
🚨Dont like Sonam Wangchuk & his methods?
(whatever the reason - u cannot be forced otherwise)
🚨 U wonder why should Govt. talk to protestors
(in basic democracies people's voices are heard)
🚨 Even if you reject the entire movement and its demands - you cannot reject the data that shows India's (already tottering) education system has been decimated in the last decade.
We are nowhere close to world class universities, we are shutting down schools, we are allowing for massive brain drain & we're effectively defunding research.
When our rival China is building cutting edge AI models, landing reusable rockets, dominating EV research and manufacturing - we are busy fighting over Mughals in textbooks, eggs in midday meals and exam papers that leak like an open faucet.
🚨 Even if you hate this protest - and the messengers - understand the shit that we are in. Even if you don't care about Wangchuk's life - know that Indian Education is also in ICU. This will destroy the capacity and opportunities for the next generation of Indians.

Okay, let's settle the debate
A falling INR hurts you:-
1) You travel abroad/want to send kids abroad.
2) You use petrol/diesel or import business.
3) You save in FDs/Indian stocks. Your real buying power erodes globally.
A falling INR helps you:-
1) If you sell stuff to Americans/foreigners.
2) If your jobs pays you in USD.
3) If you are a NRI (you can buy Indian assets cheaper).
It doesn't matter to you:-
1) If you are a freebie loader.
2) Bhakt.
3) Idiot.
