The best thing for football in Maine going forward would be to disassociate itself completely from public education. It's an awful thing for the sport and many kids who could benefit from it but it's obvious football doesn't have many friends in education anymore.

Olympic long-jump hopeful Kate Hall is facing A-C-L surgery on he left knee while training last week. On Instagram she said ''my heart is broken that I won't have a chance to make the Olympics this year; something I know I would have done if I was healthy."
Just an awful story. Colin's mother passed away last week, his father had a heart attack at the funeral home and died, which leaves Colin without any family or insurance as he continues a 2 year battle against brain cancer.
If you can help, he needs it.
