I'm glad the show is taking a more explicit path, but this and the sex scenes... made me uncomfortable for so many reasons that I can't even properly list rn.

But I feel like most ppl are gonna side with Stolas (thing that I've always did myself until today) cuz "Blitz used to do the same" except... it's not the same.

When Blitz was sleeping around, #Stolitz were just randomly hooking up for the Grimoire and Stolas didn't confess his romantic feelings until Full Moon. Blitz thought he was just using him for sex, so from his pov he wasn't hurting him.
This time is different though: Stolas KNOWS that Blitz cares about him, they even had a Disney-like kiss after the fight with Andy, a kiss of love not mere lust, still he goes and disrespects Blitz in his own house after the care and affection he's showing him.
Blits is doing his best to make him feel loved, wanted but Stolas spat on his feelings.
He saw that Blitz was hurt and still decided to leave with his one night stand guy.
How can u defend that? 🤷‍♀️

I'm starting to notice a pattern with Stolas inviting home the guys he intends to "cheat" on his current partner with.
He invited Blitz to his castle when he "cheated" on Stella with him and now he invites this guy to Blitz's house. After he lost his royal status, Blitz gave Stolas a roof, food, a job, makes sure he feels comfortable, loved, wanted. He's really trying his best to make amends for the past and cheer him up and Stolas still WILLFULLY spits on his feelings. Cuz he noticed his heartbroken expression and still decided to leave with the guy. I wonder how would Via react to her dad's current conduct.

Rn it's honestly impossible not to be outraged at Stolas's behavior. And this comes from a huge Stolas fan, I've always sided with him in every occasion but this time he fu*ked up a great deal and there's nothing wrong in admitting that.

Also u guys who are still embarassing urselves defending Stolas are just hiding behind a finger while claiming that "Blitz did the same to Stolas in S1/2".
Nope, that wasn't the same and the curcumstances were very different. When Blitz was sleeping around, him and Stolas just had a sexual arrangement. Stolas was in love with Blitz but he never confessed until Full Moon and Blitz thought he was just using him for sex. Now the context is completely different, Blitz confessed his feelings to Stolas recently so when he chose to leave with the dom guy, he deliberately did that knowing he was going to hurt him. If he wasn't ready to be with Blitz rn, he could've used his time to become a better person and better father so to restore his reputation in Via's eyes.
Instead he chooses to degrade himself in such a humiliating way. It's self-h*rm, he's not "living" as some ppl claim.

Reality is he didn't fall low, he was always like this. He bailed on his daughter to be with the guy over and over throughout her life whilst ignoring her needs because he personally felt sad and repressed and that was all that mattered. He was the only victim of the story and was fighting back in his own head by doing what he wanted and not that he's 50% of the reason his daughter was miserable. Acting like he was the only victim in the world.

Then after promising to be there for her, willingly went to be executed to protect that same guy over staying with her, ready to leave her in the same situation he knows is terrible and even after, he never tries to fight hard to get her back, to pursue a way she can live with him and he sets himself up to be more stable for his daughter. He just crashes at his boyfriends. And earlier, despite pushing to be with him, the moment Blitz needed him to actually stand next to him and defend their relationship in public, as he was always insecure about their dynamic. Instead when it came time, Stolas hid his face out of public embarrassment.

He was always a selfish person, the eternal victim and being repressed by a b*tch wife doesn't purify him of his own terrible personality. He's constantly looking for reassurance but never giving it beyond lip service. And has to be directly pushed every time, by threats of death to those people just to actually be around his own daughter or admit he's with Blitz. And even then it's all about how good it makes him feel that they like him. He got to hide behind being a sad repressed victim like Jerry in Rick and Morty. And just like Jerry the minute he starts feeling himself he gets an unearned sense of arrogance.

And becoming a slut to cope through sex is not "living". This is clearly being framed as a bad thing. One thing Stolas has in common with Blitz is that much of his suffering is self-inflicted due to failing to learn from mistakes.

Blitz is no saint himself, and he is partly responsible for how he was treated by stealing the grimoire and pity-fucking Stolas. But unlike Stolas, Blitz has learned and changed over the course of the story. He's a far cry from the selfish asshole he used to be.

Stolas, meanwhile, hasn't learned a damn thing. Still making the same mistakes as his introduction: self-absorbed, clueless, casually cruel, dismissive, and oblivious. That's why many fans, me included, are so frustrated.

We want to see character *growth*, not character stagnation and degradation. After everything Mastermind and Sinsmas set up, now was the time for Stolas and Blitz to learn and grow *together*. Not necessarily as a couple, not yet, but to have conversations about their feelings and where they stand.

Instead, we're met with...this. One can make every excuse under the sun, that doesn't justify how Stolas is acting.
