Our May Object of the Month features the Bhurtpore gun. It was captured by Lord Combermere and his forces at the siege of Bhurtpore in January 1826. You can read more about this historic piece and the siege of Bhurtpore here https://t.co/YS9te4xVPg

At 16:00 hrs on 29th July, the Royal Horse Artillery fired a 21-gun salute as part of the 1948 Olympic Opening Ceremony.
This token was issued to one of the Gunners who took part in the ceremony.
