@RBNHSFT
With our service only funded until March, we are keen to empower the @rbhtherapyteam to use Single Handed Care in their daily practice. We had a successful day of teaching last Friday with a high turn out!…A huge thank you to Mark from @dhg_healthcare for his support on the day!
Guess who’s back! The Single Handed Care Team has been reinstated for winter pressures from December - March 2023. Made up of an Occupational Therapist and 2 OT apprentices. I can’t wait to see what we are able to achieve.#one2care#Singlehandedcare@rbhtherapyteam@RBNHSFT
@a1risksolutions@NHSEngland@rbhtherapyteam Thank you Deborah, yesterday was definitely an opportunity to reflect and realise just how much we’ve achieved! Super proud! Thank you for inviting us 😊
MENTAL CAPACITY 🧵
💬 Could you assess Bed 3’s capacity quickly?
💬 Do you think he has capacity to decide on discharge?
💬 I thought he had, but now I’m not so sure.
Ever hear discussions like these? What do you understand by capacity? Let’s think through it together...
@Karen0Leary Absolutely! Not to mention that it’s often more meaningful to service users to go home with family support, rather than formal care packages.
We’re in our final week of our 9 month project so have some final statistic to share 🤩 In total we’ve seen 269 patients & managed to reduce 146 referrals to single handed care on discharge…
