For #ThrowbackThursday in the 2006 season at Deir Mar Musa I took a couple of climbers out so I could have a look at the cliff below the monastery. Found a cave!

Inverlochy Castle (Scotland) reconstruction mock-up over @UndisScot image. Reminds me of Flint Castle in Wales. However the Donjon here on far Left backs onto the water as a retreat point unlike on the landward side at Flint.
My grandpa who is 85 started making this rock map of Scotland in 1992.He collected rocks during amateur geology trips over 30 years. He says it had to be geologically correct and also aesthetically pleasing. He asked if I could share online as He wants to go viral so please share
I wrote this story for a prompt by The Kraken Lore on Medium. It is the kind of fantasy that helps me sleep at night.

The Union Jack is a combination of the crosses of St. George, a Palestinian; St. Andrew, who was an Apostle from Galilee; and St. Patrick, who was British, but is famous for work in Ireland where he was initially a hated immigrant. They would not approve.
For all the people out there waving the Cross of St. George, you should know that St. George of Lydda was a Palestinian, and is widely revered in the Middle East by all faiths.

🔴 Turkey and Libya do not share a direct maritime border in the Mediterranean Sea, as they are separated by a significant distance and the maritime zones of Greece, Egypt and Cyprus.
🔴 The Turkey-Libya Maritime Memorandum is infringing upon the sovereign rights of 3rd States, does not comply with the United Nations’ Law of the Sea and cannot produce any legal consequences for 3rd states.
In other words: illegal, invalid, void.❌
🔴 This geographically absurd and illegal memorandum between Libya and Turkey serves as a clear example of Turkey’s destabilizing behaviour in the Eastern Mediterranean, as it undermines international law, disregards the sovereign rights of its neighbours, and poses a serious threat to peace and stability in the region.
🔴 There are no disputes in the eastern Mediterranean-only illegal Turkish claims
