Rowena and Ian are very grateful for the support of local residents, and look forward to working hard for the next four years in Coombe Hill ward. Don't forget, our Coombe Hill Councillor Surgery takes place on the first Saturday of every month at 10am in Warren House.

And we're live! Our digital Christmas Campaign "The Tree of 1000 Lights" is up and ready to receive donations! https://t.co/5Pry3x0hel
A donation of just £10 brings life to a bulb, and I can assure you (because I built it), when those 1000 lights are lit, it's a beautiful sight!
A lovely evening attending the Malden & Coombe Residents' Association AGM. Very appreciative of the kind words in the Directors' Report. Great to meet everyone, answer questions and give an update on local issues. Keep up to date via our social media at https://t.co/LAHlScUsCX
Out this morning speaking to residents in Lord Chancellor Walk and the Coombe Lane West area. Some really nice conversations on the doorstep. Issues raised include problem parking, crime concerns, council tax, road and pavement maintenance. #CoombeHill#KingstonUponThames
Kingston Council cock-up sees Crescent Road penalty charges cancelled, but no-entry restrictions remain:

As one of Kingston Council's 'Armed forces Champions' I attended the VJ Day 80 commemoration in Kingston this morning. Here on the Guildhall steps with the Mayor, prior to the flag raising. Then onto the well-attended service in New Malden High Street.
Lots of residents at Kingston's council meeting tonight in support of the petition against the tripling of car parking charges. The LibDems arranged for it to be debated, with most residents forced to sit in an empty hall next door. The LibDems don't care about the residents.
I was prevented from speaking in the debate about the tripling of Kingston's parking charges. The LibDems took a terrible rushed decision behind closed doors. They are now making minor changes, again made in secret before the meeting. I predict another dogs-dinner of a decision.
Traffic backed up past the hospital, and hardly moving. Mainly due to lane closures caused by building work at the new development opp Kingston station. Lane closures at any time will cause major issues, but to allow it during the peak rush hours is crazy.

A hot afternoon for Cllr Ian George and Cllr Rowena Bass, out with our fantastic team of helpers, speaking to local residents and delivering our latest newsletter. Seen here recuperating outside the Black Horse pub at the bottom of Kingston Hill. #CoombeHill#KingstonUponThames
Thank you to everyone who attended our very busy Councillor Surgery this morning at Warren House. Lots of work for us to do relating to planning, social services and antisocial behaviour issues locally. As always, thanks to @WarrenHouseCC for hosting us.
