@AaronVold3 @Bpaul02 Terrible example, the offense would then change their approach. What changes can a hitter make against a pitcher who pitches into the shift? Pitching has gotten significantly tougher over the decades with no changes helping the hitter & you want it worse with shifts

@Bpaul02 But I’m saying that a pitcher has a significantly easier time pitching into a shift that a hitter has hitting out of it. A hitter already had an outstanding career failing 70% of the time, now mix in shifts and we’ll start to consider .250 hitters great. No thanks
