We're not crying, you're crying 🥺
Unreal day for 🇨🇦 with @HugoHoule taking the win 🥇 and @rusty_woods not far behind in 🥉 at #TDF2022
Couldn't be prouder of them 👏
City of Ottawa community & social services ends 2021 w/ $15million surplus (within City’s overall $52M surplus) Why is this $ going to gen reserves? In a Housing & Homelessness Emergency it can be spent now on 1-time capital projects. Build housing now. https://t.co/64uUrP1NyS
Mile 24 means you’re almost there -- it doesn’t mean you get to jog it in. The final miles require as much, or more, attention and effort as the early ones.
3.5 weeks to go; intensity and focus dialed in until the finish.

I was doing a live hit with @MSNBC this afternoon when our crew was mobbed. One guy actually spit at us, others called us Nazis. MSNBC had to cut it off almost after it began. Then they chased us down the street to our bureau.
This is not a few bad apples. This happens every night to all TV crews. As soon as the camera light comes on, like moths to a flame, they start hurling obscenities and saying our newscasts (which they never watch) are lies. Someone is going to get seriously hurt.
Question from @CBCNews reporter to @JimWatsonOttawa asking: "How will you restore civic trust that is been so broken in your city?"
Watson's response: "My focus is not there."
Where is it then? #ResignWatson
A number of former police chiefs have been on CBC TV today providing commentary about how professional police are in moving slowly and methodically against Ottawa protesters. There has been little mention of lack of law enforcement action in the three weeks leading up to this.
So…Zexi Li, the 21-year-old Ottawa resident leading a class-action lawsuit vs the “Freedom Convoy,” says that one of the protestors actually backed his truck onto a sidewalk in an attempt to hit her yesterday.
Zexi Li is the DEFINITION of a hero.
Who else stands with her? ✋🏾
The resignation of city councillor #RawlsonKing from the Police Services Board is significant.King, who is just in his first term, is a widely respected member of council. He's also the first Black city councillor in #Ottawa's history. His leaving the board leaves a hole.
We’ve had an escalating situation at the shop this morning. The Police have peacefully removed the occupiers and their vehicles. Please do not visit the shop today as the remaining protestors are agitated. #ottawa#centretown
"I embrace running as a Muslim Somali-Canadian Black man, and I live the best that I can because it’s just part of who I am."
Mohammed Ahmed is an Olympic medallist, but for him, running is about more than podiums. (@kadijaosman_ | #BlackHistoryMonth)
