@OneFineJay When I was a kid the well water was called “sulphur water” and tasted like rotten eggs, but we drank it. I wouldn’t be able to do that now that I am spoiled with non-egg water.
@RolfCoptar@prieurdp Backing out into empty space is easier than backing in between two cars with 18 point turns. The sheep all read the same article on backing in and comply, causing the traffic jam backups at my work garage daily.
@Kristinartz Don’t do it. They moonscaped it and cut down every single tree including the one I planted when I was 5 years old. I wish I had never seen it.
@tuuu28283 English is two languages merged into one. Old Norman French based in Latin and Germanic Saxon, Frisian and Norse plus native Brittonic so there are multiple ways to say the same thing. The first way is maybe more comparitave to other hospitals.
@DrewVento My uber account was hacked and someone was ordering rides 3000 miles away. I informed uber and they fixed it but then stopped ME from using the app. I have had to use Lyft for the last 6 years because they listed my contact info as ineligible and banned instead of the criminal
@kinginvestings Yes, but I’ve heard this for so long and missed 40% gains trying to time it. Better to just ride the roller coaster up and down if you don’t need the money within 1-2 years.
@PrinceOf_Darkns@grok The geometry also relates to sight distance and ground clearance for large vehicles. You have to be able to see a certain distance ahead for safety.
@BillWiIdin In order for it to work you need multiple densely populated cities aka the northeast where the most rail commuters live. I take rail to work daily. It takes about 1 hour. No need for it to be high speed. Everywhere else has one major population center per large area.
