On July 25, a CH-146 Griffon from 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron responded do a glider crash north of Pontiac Airport in Quebec. The search and rescue crew successfully transported the person to a local hospital.

Together, @RCAF_ARC, Portuguese, Spanish and French SAR crews cooperated for an intense week of rescues in challenging conditions. In a combined effort they conducted simulated land and sea missions for a person in water, stricken vessels, cliff rescues and more.

That’s a wrap! For one week, Exercise KRATOS partnered the 🇬🇷 Navy and 🇨🇦 @RCAF in the recently established advanced anti-submarine warfare (ASW) force generation collaboration between our forces. KRATOS focused on strengthening our combined operational readiness.

NORAD CF-18s from the 🇨🇦 Canadian NORAD Region (CANR) launch in support of #ArcticEdge26 to conduct Cruise Missile Defense activities with F-35s from the 🇺🇸 Alaskan NORAD Region (ANR) in Alaska.

Training against simulated airborne threats strengthens our layered defense and enhances #NORAD's ability to deter, detect, and defend North America from every avenue of approach.

[North American Aerospace Defense Command @NORADCommand]

NORAD successfully completed Operation GLOBAL GUARDIAN earlier this week.

As a U.S. Strategic Command Bomber Task Force transited from the Indo-Pacific into Alaska, through Canada, and into the Continental U.S., NORAD’s Alaskan, Canadian, and Continental U.S. Regions capitalized on the opportunity to execute and coordinate sequential tracking and intercepts of an American  B-52 Stratofortress, acting as a simulated threat to North America. This inter-regional cooperation demonstrates the binational Command’s seamless and layered defense of North America.

Shout out to all three of our regions for operating as one team across the continent. Together, we remain ready to defend our homelands from every avenue of approach. 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

103 SAR Squadron has completed its ‘Boat Camp’ #SAR exercise off St. John’s. The exercise brought together #RCAF and @CoastGuardCAN members to practice hoisting SAR Techs and simulated casualties to and from a variety of vessels and liferafts in different weather and sea states.
