A whole planet yelling in excitement as the manned mission successfully reached its first peak.

A single breaks through across the radio through the cheering and the static so thick you could feel it in your fingers. "Apollo... We have a successful launch. Welcome to space..."

BEEP...BEEP...BEEP...

The subtle sound breaks the vast silence of nothingness. A weightlessness sets in as if every worry was left behind. An astronaut sitting in the captain's chair slowly takes a deep breath and opens his eyes to see the vast wonders before him.

As he recalled this memory upon entering the final frontier, he starts to hear murmurs through the void. Indistinguishable at first. As he came to, voices started to become clearer. Cheering.
