Yesterday, we came together for #Kwibuka32, honouring the victims of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi.
The day began with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at Memorial stone at Saint Stephen’s Garden, followed by commemoration event at Audacious Church Auditorium.
Following the wreath-laying, we heard a testimony from survivor Jean Louis Mazimpaka, followed by remarks from officials to commemorate the lives lost in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
