Congratulations to Parker Wicker for receiving a Gold rating this morning at ISSMA solo and ensemble at Yorktown. Parker will now move on the State contest in Indianapolis on Saturday February 24th. Great job Parker!

Tonight’s the night! Last RCHS Alumni Pep Band game of this basketball season. Saturday, January 6th. Meet in the band room. Social time 5pm, drumset players meeting at 5:30, rehearsal starts at 6pm. Tonight is a Lady Lions game! Come and be a part of the fun and excitement.

Next Saturday August 26th a great series of concerts at the Greenwood Amphitheater. Bring a lawn chair and the whole family. Mr. C is playing tuba in the Greater Greenwood Community Band. It’s always nice to look up and see familiar faces in the audience. And it’s free!

This year's RCHS Alumni Pep Band games will be Saturday December 30th, 2023 and Saturday January 6th, 2024. Both events will start with a social time at 5pm then rehearsal at 6pm. Hope to see all of our band alums back. Please share with your friends.

Wow! What an amazing Day 1 Band Camp 2023

Every student (78 out of 78) came to band camp today, (This is the first time I’ve ever been able to say that, I’m just beyond thankful!).

Band Camp starts Monday July 24th at 8am. We are asking all students to enter the school from the main school entrance. Please remember to bring your cardiac arrest form, lunch, water bottle, instrument, comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Let’s Rock On!

The RCHS Band did a Disney recording clinic tonight. We rehearsed then recorded a scene from the movie Aladdin with our band providing the music. It was a great experience for our students.
