My kiddos struggle with poetry, so we’re focusing on a poem per day. Yesterday we read Tupac’s poem “The Rose that Grew from Concrete.” They were surprised a rapper could be a poet. The deep conversations they had shows their growth. I love it! @NWREKing @NWRElementary

We had an excellent time in class today completing a Nearpod on the Titanic. Also, it was Disney Day for hoco so I made my own ears. One of my students named me Niki Mouse! Get it? 🤣
