This, in turn, helps restore biological balance and provide essential habitats for wildlife in arid regions.The importance of these technologies is manifested in being one of the main pillars to confront the effects of drought, thereby supporting the national targets for the sustainability of ecosystems.

استقبل برنامج استمطار السحب وفدًا من اللجنة الوطنية لآلية التنمية النظيفة ووكالة الاستدامة والتغير المناخي بـ #وزارة_الطاقة.
اطلع الوفد على إمكانات البرنامج والبنية التحتية لأسطول الطائرات وطائرة الأبحاث، وتم النقاش حول سبل تعزيز الاستدامة البيئية بما يحقق مستهدفات #رؤية_السعودية_2030.
The Cloud Seeding Program received a delegation from the National Committee for Clean Development Mechanism (DNA) and the Deputyship of Sustainability and Climate Change at the Ministry of Energy.
The delegation was briefed on the program's capabilities and infrastructure, followed by discussions on ways to enhance environmental sustainability in alignment with the objectives of #SaudiVision2030.

ضمن جهود المملكة لتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية، شارك برنامج استمطار السحب في معرض #أسبوع_البيئة 2026، الذي تنظمه وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة تحت شعار #أثرك_أخضر، واستعرض البرنامج خلال المعرض دور التقنيات الحديثة لاستمطار السحب في:
🔹 تعزيز الهاطل المطري.
🔹 دعم استدامة الموارد المائية والغطاء النباتي.
🔹 دعم تحقيق مستهدفات #السعودية_الخضراء.

As part of the Kingdom's efforts to enhance environmental sustainability, the Cloud Seeding Program participated in #EnvironmentWeek 2026, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture under the theme #GreenImpact🌱During the exhibition, the program highlighted the contribution of cloud seeding technologies in:
🔹 Increasing rainfall.
🔹 Supporting the sustainability of water resources and vegetation cover.
🔹 Supporting the goals of the #SaudiGreenInitiative.

The #Cloud_Seeding Program is participating in the #WorldDefenseShow2026 in its third edition, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from February 8 to 12, 2026, to showcase the cloud seeding aircrafts and the innovative technologies for enhancing water and environmental security.  This participation comes as part of #Saudi_Vision_2030, and serves to highlight the efforts aimed at increasing rainfall rates and supporting sustainability.
