The "Fandom Menace" is about to pivot, and you need to be ready for the rewrite.

If the reports are true and Dave Filoni is finally taking the reins from Kathleen Kennedy, prepare yourselves for the most cynical pivot in the history of YouTube rage bait.

For years, these channels have built an entire economy on a simple narrative: Filoni/Favreau = Good vs. Kennedy = Bad. It was an easy sell that printed money. But if Kennedy leaves, their villain evokes into thin air. Peace is bad for business. Outrage pays the rent.

So, mark my words: the same channels that hailed Dave Filoni as the "chosen one" are about to rewrite history. They will turn on him overnight. They’ll scour his recent work for "woke" infractions, they’ll claim he’s "sold out," and they will try to gaslight you into forgetting who this man actually is.

Here is the reality they will try to erase:

Dave Filoni isn’t just a "fan" who got a job. He was George Lucas’s Padawan. This wasn’t a corporate mentorship; it was a years-long masterclass. During the production of The Clone Wars, Filoni stood at George’s right hand every single day.

We aren't just talking about directing tips. George imparted a theological understanding of the Force to Dave that isn’t written down in any story bible or wiki. Filoni holds the oral history of Star Wars. He knows why George made certain choices, the spiritual and mythological bedrock of the galaxy, better than anyone alive other than The Maker himself.

There is a reason George Lucas trusted Dave with his legacy before he sold the company. He knew Dave understood the heartbeat of Star Wars, not just the laser swords, but the morality, the balance, and the spirit.

When the rage baiters start their new narrative, when they try to paint Filoni as "just another Disney suit"; remember that he is the only person left in that building who learned the ways of the Force from The Maker himself.

Don't let them rewrite the facts just because they need a new villain to keep the clicks flowing.
