Our @rotaryd9213 and @MinofHealthUG have cemented their unity, the impact is going to be multiplied. At the invitation of the Past President of @SondeRotary and Director General @MinofHealthUG , Rtn Charles Olara, we agreed to commemorate World Polio Day | @EndPolioNow on Oct 24th, keeping vigilance against a disease where even one case is a threat. @Rotary has been at the frontline of @EndPolioNow eradication, with global funding of over US $850M and immunizing billions of children. Uganda still battles malaria, with 12M+ cases yearly, our district @rotaryd9213 ,@RotaractD9213 has complemented national efforts through community health days and education with our partners @MPUganda. Cancer takes 33,000 lives annually yet @UgRotaryCancerP | Rotary’s Cancer Run has raised nearly UGX 5B, to build facilities like Nsambya’s ward and radiotherapy bunkers. Through our joint health camps, surgical missions, and the Little Hearts Project, we reaffirm that no Ugandan should be left behind in the fight for health, hope, and dignity
