As much as i hate to say it that attack had nothing to do with tactics but it was laxity,ignorance of the highest order and under estimating the enemy.Some of the troops who perished in that attack previously had witnessed the same so called tactics used against Burundian troops.

As tensions between Malcolm X and the Nation of Islam escalated, he went on his second and final trip to Africa. Stopping over in numerous countries, he was received in some nations as a statesman and in others with little acclaim. After a chance meeting between him, Jomo Kenyatta and Milton Obote on a plane ride to Kenya, Malcolm X got the opportunity to address Kenya’s parliament. He spoke about Pan Africanism and global black solidarity. Previously, he had expressed support for the Mau Mau in Kenyans fight against the British. On this day in 1965 he was gunned down. May his spirit continue to remind us of the solidarity we need in such a turbulent time.
