BIG THANKS to the @IHSA_IL for having the foresight to get something like this rolling.

Not all college camps are accessible for our ALL of athletes/families for many reasons.

Seems like we have a bureaucratic quagmire on our hands…

The #IHSA did a great job of recognizing the changing landscape of college recruiting and allowed free HS showcases. It costs most athletes 300-500$ per camp to attend in summer with travel/hotel/camp. Some kids go to 4-10 camps! Crazy costs. Thanks #IHSA

On Tuesday @MarionWildcats kickoff IL High School Spring Football Showcases! There will be a total 18 showcases state-wide that will feature 1500+ student-athletes starting in Southern IL and working North in the coming weeks.

There is no doubt there will be bumps in the road, and we are facing some of them right now, but we will stay the course and improve the showcases every single spring moving forward.

On field Rivalries & the Catholic vs Public debate have all been set aside for what is the, IMO, the most positive thing to take place in my 24 years coaching football in IL.

All of us have 1 goal: Provide the best chance to help our athletes fulfill their goals/dreams.
