The conclave is upon us!
In just 2 days, the cardinals will enter the Sistine Chapel to choose the next shepherd of our community.
The Missa Pro Eligendo Romano Pontifice (pre-conclave mass) will take place at 21:00 Rome Time, with the conclave following immediately afterward.
Today His Eminence, Cardinal Antonius de Croatiae, along with Msgr. Alexander Carranza, visited the Serbian Orthodox Metochion Representative Cathedral in Timisoara, Romania, where he met His Grace, Bishop Gerasim. They spoke about this historical site from the 18th century.
[JUST IN] His Holiness Pope Benedict XVII has been admitted to Gemelli University Hospital due to shortness of breath and nausea. Doctors continue tirelessly searching for a diagnosis for the symptoms, presumably caused by a recent fall that left a scar on his face.
It was a joy to meet with His Grace Gerasim Midić of the Serbian Orthodox Church yesterday! Forever grateful for the beautiful Panagia and grammation as well as for the amazing openness towards ecumenism and ever greater cooperation. Ut unum sint - may they all be one!

Today, the General Secretary-elect Fr. Gerasimos, along with Fr. Theodosius from the ROC, the President for Ecumenical Relations in Russia, visited His Eminence, Cardinal Otilio, at the Apostolic Palace in Rome and discussed the WCC and Vatican's future relations developments.
Congratulations to Fr. Jan and Fr. Nazar who have been ordained to the priesthood today!
It was a very special ordination. Jan and Nazar are the first class to have graduated the reformed formation system. Good luck to both of them in their new ministry! :)
Today I celebrated the one year anniversary of my episcopal consecration. Exactly one year ago I prostrated on the floor of Westminster cathedral and accepted the consecration from the hands of Pope Benedict XVII.
