Day 18 of @AmazonKDP not paying my royalties. They still haven't removed the holds on my account despite assuring me for almost 2 weeks that they're "working on it". Report lodged with the ASBFEO this morning. The way KDP treats their authors is woeful.

@AmazonKDP ignoring all my posts on here is so on-brand lol. Day 14 of No Royalties has dawned, and I've defaulted on my first bill that was too large for me to catch any other way. So that's great fun. KDP keep telling me they're trying to reach Accounts Payable 🫠

@msniklaus @AmazonKDP @fairwork_gov_au Yeah @fairwork_gov_au what does this actually mean for @AmazonKDP ? Because an employer can't just withhold your wages, how about a multi-billion dollar company refusing to pay out royalties?

@AmazonKDP just asked me to update my bank details AGAIN, then told me I've now placed myself back at the bottom of the queue they're working through by doing so.
Day 13 of royalties not being paid out dawns. Thanks, KDP. I really needed this extra stress.

@AmazonKDP Day 11 of No Royalties being paid out for UK, US and CA stores. All others went fine. Keep getting told KDP is "working on it". Sure you are. Sure. Just like you "expedited" my case to the AP department a week ago. Pretty sure keeping people's money is a No-no?

Also, @AmazonKDP not paying me royalties due two weeks ago has been fun. I was assured they had "expedited it" 5 days ago. Still waiting. Love that for me.

@AmazonKDP My upcoming book is available for pre-order but is not searchable. The only way to find it is to go to one of my other books, click on my author name and then it comes up. Why is my book being hidden like this? This isn't OK.

@auspost I am SO TIRED of this. I am home. No one rings the doorbell, no one knocks, no slip left behind, but "delivery was attempted". And then the workers at the post office give me guff for not having a slip. Stellar service!

So on Friday @auspost told me my express parcel was on board for delivery. It never came. Now it's supposedly still in Kemps Creek for processing and will arrive in a WEEK? Did I mention it's an express parcel?
