In Al Husha district of Ad Dali Governorate, Relief and Development Peer Foundation (RDP) is implementing an emergency health intervention to support most affected IDPs and host communities, with funding from Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
Through the support of Bani Subh and Dhwran health centers in Al Husha district, healthcare services have been strengthened by providing medical equipment and furniture, medicines, medical and laboratory supplies, in addition to essential operational support. This has ensured the continued delivery of high-quality healthcare services to those most in need.
Over a six-month period (October 2025 – March 2026), a total of 14,728 beneficiaries accessed primary healthcare services, while 1,245 individuals received psychosocial support, reinforcing the importance of integrating physical and mental health services.
We remain committed to expanding access and reaching more vulnerable populations in need.

In Al-Bayda Governorate, RDP continue supporting the most vulnerable families through food assistance provided by the World Food Programme.
The distribution was concocted in 5 districts (As Sawadiya, Asharyah, Radman, Numan, and Nati’ districts). A total no. of 9312 HH were targeted in this distribution.
The food basket included 5 bottles of cooking oil and 3 Kg of legumes

Within the Integrated Emergency Response Project aimed at enhancing food security, livelihoods, and education for children and their families in Bajil District, Al Hudaydah Governorate, Relief & Development Peer Foundation (RDP) implemented a 20-day sewing training course.
The training was carried out in partnership with the Technical and Vocational Training Office in Al Hudaydah Governorate and Bajil District.
Number of trainees: 8 women
The participants received intensive hands-on training in sewing skills, contributing to strengthening their professional capacities and creating sustainable income-generating opportunities.
In addition, comprehensive in-kind grants were distributed to enable the trainees to launch their own small businesses. The grants included:
• Sewing machine with full accessories
• Solar power system
• A variety of fabrics
This support, funded by the Sign of Hope (SoH), goes beyond the provision of equipment; it represents a genuine investment in women’s empowerment, self-reliance, and improved livelihoods.

A New Success in Women’s Empowerment in Bajil District – Al Hudaydah Governorate
Within the Integrated Emergency Response Project aimed at enhancing food security, livelihoods, and education for children and their families in Bajil District, Al Hudaydah Governorate, Relief & Development Peer Foundation (RDP) implemented a 20-day training course in bakery production.
The training was carried out in partnership with the Technical and Vocational Training Office in Al Hudaydah Governorate and Bajil District.
A total of 7 women trainees participated in the course, receiving training in bakery skills, contributing to strengthening their professional capacities and creating new income-generating opportunities.
In addition, comprehensive in-kind grants were distributed to enable the trainees to launch their own small businesses. The grants included:
Gas oven
Gas cylinder
Mixer
All necessary bakery tools (plastic mixing bowls, baking trays, and more)
Essential start-up materials (flour, sugar, eggs, and others)
This support, funded by the Sign of Hope (SoH), goes beyond the provision of equipment, it represents a genuine investment in women’s empowerment, self-reliance, and improved livelihoods.

RDP continues to support vulnerable families in Abs, Hajjah
Amid rising humanitarian challenges. The sixth and final round of unconditional cash assistance reaches 630 households, including IDPs and host communities, under the YHF/OCHA funded Emergency Food Security & Livelihoods Response Project. This assistance tackles malnutrition and empowers families to meet basic needs, upholding human dignity.

RDP completes and handover 263 transitional shelters to beneficiaries in Abs district, Hajjah governorate, under the “Emergency Response for Transitional Shelter project”. These shelters provide safe, dignified living for displaced families, protecting them from harsh weather conditions.
