Standing corralled in a pen in Edinburgh at a let women speak event. The opposition were doing EVERYTHING to not let any women speak...they brought a loudspeaker to play music, jeer at the women..a much smaller group..but braver than any one of them smug gits. I was at one point at the side with son and dog...woman speaking about rape ..a foul young man with a sign not unlike this said 'the cunt deserved it' (the rape)

It's an absolute outrage that mainstream platforms continue to invite the Islamophobe John Cleese.

They are basically condoning Islamophobia by doing so.

The only outrageous thing here is the assumption that people are too stupid to notice the framing.

You worked for Iran’s state-backed Press TV, and 5Pillars has received funding from Islamic Finance Guru’s Zakat Impact Fund. People are perfectly entitled to take that context into account when assessing your commentary.

Calling John Cleese an “Islamophobe” does not answer his argument.

Criticism of Islam - like criticism of Christianity, Judaism, communism, capitalism or any other religion or ideology - is perfectly legitimate in the UK. Disagreement, criticism and scrutiny are not automatically bigotry, no matter how uncomfortable they may be.

Branding opponents with morally loaded labels instead of addressing what they actually said is an increasingly tired tactic. If their argument is wrong, demonstrate why it is wrong.

And data is not Islamophobic. Per-capita statistics are not Islamophobic. Dismissing inconvenient figures as “bigotry” is not a rebuttal.

Challenge the methodology. Challenge the denominator. Challenge the comparison. Challenge the conclusion.

But if the numbers are accurate, calling the person citing them an “Islamophobe” does not make the numbers disappear.

The reality is that Pakistani men formed a majority of suspects in several major documented grooming-gang investigations.

Operation Stovewood in Rotherham recorded nearly two-thirds of its 323 designated suspects as Pakistani, compared with roughly 4% of Rotherham’s population – around 16 times their local population share.

Operation Protection in the West Midlands recorded 62% of its 75 grooming suspects as Pakistani, compared with roughly 7.3% of the population in the West Midlands Police area – around 8.5 times their local population share.

Pool those two investigations, and roughly 64% of the suspects were Pakistani.

That does not prove that 64% of grooming-gang offenders nationally are Pakistani – the national dataset is too incomplete to make that claim. But it does demonstrate substantial over-representation in major investigations where ethnicity was actually recorded.

You cannot make that evidence disappear by calling the person discussing it an “Islamophobe”.

I remember distinctly Anna dying alost the day after she lost her son, it was very very close, as I remember thinking so vividly I too would die soon if my son passed, I do not think I could bear a day without him and I always thought this of her, she died from absolute heartbreak and left an almost new born behind, it was a terrible terribly sad thing and again, I remember my heart breaking for her tiny baby...

My algorithm on youtube follows a few little kids with congenital problems that I follow and support when I can with a little cash here and there. Suddenly I get videos of babies in Africa...tonnes...the babies get literally thrown around by one arm or leg at a time violently...and its enough videos for it to seemingly be a 'thing' they do....it's utterly horrific..i reported as many as i could...then they force feed the babies horrible milky stuff by using their hands as a funnel and basically waterboarding the baby...forcing liquid in as they choke and scream
