@mhlangatpn I go back to my question, which shoe is designed for a specific pace?
If you can answer this question, I’d be satisfied. I can assure you, there is no shoe designed for specific pace, super shoes are made to enhance and support better performance with their mechanics.
@mhlangatpn These shoes are just carbon plated shoes, developed with mechanics that help runners perform better. Both Vaporfly & Saucony are not designed for a specific pace.
These shoes can be worn by any runner at any level and they’ll get the same benefits as elites.
@mhlangatpn I’m not fighting you by the way. I just want us to be more factual especially with information that can impact people that are interested in the running community.
@mhlangatpn Sending me screenshots of the obvious. Shoes & biomechanics.
The argument you supported was certain shoes are made for certain paces which I said is a lie. Let’s focus on this aspect only please. Until you name one shoe for fast runners, there’s nothing further we can engage on
@mshengulala Which shoe is designed by pace? Just give me one shoe my brother.
Even Sawe’s sub 2 shoe isn’t made with pace in mind and it is not only for “faster runners”.
@mhlangatpn There are many other factors besides weight that cause pronation by the way.
Why then do you respond to my tweet in agreement with someone saying some shoes are for certain paces if you aren’t sure?
No shoe is designed for certain paces, it is a flawed metric for shoemakers.
premium/ lifestyle sports sometimes get hated on, which makes no sense
personally — I’d much rather see folks meet-up for padel after work than get wasted at the bar
people improving themselves & working on their fitness is always a good thing
