Our website and social media channels are no longer active, but the spirit of RECLAIM continues in all who carry its mission forward. You can find support services on the RECLAIM website.
RECLAIM Has Now Closed. As of 31 May 2025, RECLAIM is no longer operating. We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done alongside young people to challenge inequality and amplify working-class voices.
While this chapter has ended, the impact of our community, campaigns, and the leadership we’ve helped nurture will live on. Thank you to everyone who supported us - staff, young people, partners, and allies.
More than 1 in 5 children in care in England are placed over 20 miles from home – some as far as 500 miles. That's #GoneTooFar.
Children should be kept close to the people and places that matter to them 💜 Can you help us reach 10,000 signatures? https://t.co/vzao0rN3YQ

🌟 Proud to see our young people shaping national discussions on the future of our high streets
Their voices in High Streets: Life Beyond Retail? report highlight a need for inclusive accessible public spaces. Let’s ensure they have a seat at the table!

Arts investment is crucial. Working-class young people aren’t often able to train in, access, practice or work in the arts due to low state investment
Public goods need investment: education, public space, housing, transport, transforming opps for WCYP

The Youth Shadow Panel's interim report shows that students want more relevant learning experiences, covering topics like culture, climate, finances, and politics. Young people deserve a say in how they’re taught—let’s hope the government listens.

Binish began her RELCLAIM journey on our Full Time Fierce programme and later released a documentary about working-class representation in Parliament.
Discover how injustice and inequality fuelled her desire to make change

As @KidsOfColourHQ have said,
“Community is all we have'. Now more than ever, we must build and grow communities which resist a justice system which is inherently racist and classist”
Please follow and support their vital work.
All at @RECLAIMproject would like to express our solidarity with all 10 boys, and their families. Every single boy should have been acquitted, and it is a deep injustice that they're not home with their families.
📣 OUTCOME 📣
It’s a deeply bittersweet, heartbreaking and mixed outcome.
We will not stop the fight and support, there are still battles to be won.
Free The Manchester 10.
Free them all.
More soon.
We must extend ‘Our Pass’ to all 11-16-year-olds so that young people can get free access to public transport.
This will remove a significant barrier to education for young people and help our communities become safer and healthier by reducing congestion and air pollution.
*Deadline 12 tonight* 🚌📷Please support the extension of ‘Our Pass’ free public transport to all 11-16-year-olds in TfGM’s School Travel Strategy Consultation before it closes on January 26th.

Copy and paste the following statement into the survey to show your support:
I support and encourage young people to use public transport to get to school. However, many young people can’t do this because of transport costs.
Internships are a growing route into employment, with 51% of 21-29 graduates completing courses.
However, only 36% of working-class graduates completed internships compared to 55% of middle-class graduates.
Working-class people are socially and economically 'priced-out'
RECLAIM supports TfGM’s emphasis on school public transportation as it improves school attendance and pupil independence. However, public transport is inaccessible for young, working-class people if it’s too expensive.
Please share so we can get as many responses as possible!
