-Relaxed the payment structure
-Faster payment
-Enhanced rehabilitation/mandatory & exclusive special courts
-Expansion of the scope of offenses under the Act: 22 to 47
-A stricter presumption of guilt introduced

2018
-No preliminary inquiry
-No bail
-No prior approval for arrest (for public servants)

2026
-40% increase in relief amount

Advocate @VineetJindal_ has filed a complaint with @CPDelhi and the Delhi Police Cyber Cell against Sanjay Azad and his minor daughter Nishu Azad.

The complaint alleges derogatory and objectionable comments regarding Hindu God’s.

The complaint seeks an FIR under sections 196 and 299 of the CrPC and relevant sections of the IT Act, and an investigation and appropriate legal action.

I gave @Nishuazad11 (Nishu Aazad) a clear and polite opportunity to delete the posts that insult Hindu Deities, Bhagwan Shiv, Bhagwan Shri Krishna, Maa Saraswati, and Maa Durga.

She is a minor. That is why I first asked her, and through her, her father, to take the posts down instead of rushing to legal action. Neither she nor her father deleted those posts. The content remains public.

I was left with no option but to file a complaint against her and her father/guardian for this deliberate refusal.

Disagreement with someone’s faith is a personal choice. It does not confer a licence to mock, degrade or insult the Gods and worship of others.

Freedom of speech is not freedom to outrage religious feelings. Those who post such content, and those who allow a minor’s account to keep it online after notice, must be prepared to face the process of law.

EWS reservation is NOT A REFORM.
Adding one more reservation on top of 3, is NOT A REFORM.

EWS was given by reducing 50% UR seats.

Real reform would have been
either adjusting EWS within 50% limit Or removing caste based reservation, adding EWS and opening it to all castes.

Don't be fooled by those who say EWS is a reform.
In its current form, IT IS NOT.

YouTuber and biker Aas Mohammad, popularly known as Ashu UK Rider (Instagram Name), died in a horrific road accident while returning from Dehradun to his village Bharapur.

Aas Mohammad had reportedly purchased a new Kawasaki ZX-10R worth around ₹22 lakh on August 27. While riding toward Paonta Sahib, the bike reportedly went out of control near Aul Hinduwala and crashed into a divider.

The impact was so severe that Ashu was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the spot.

Four men abducted a minor girl and gang-raped her in Panchami, MP.

Police arrested the accused after a week and were taking them to jail when Bajrang Dal stopped the police vehicle and demanded that the accused be beaten in public.
