“He’ll soon be as tall as me.”
Gives a small laugh.
“It went okay, got him a toy digger that he can sit on and ride around, I did not have fun building that.”
The small detail brings a subtle but genuine smile to his lips.
“How’d that go? Kid must be gettin’ big these days.”
“Oh, I’m sure, I would say same but for a very different reason, I had Olivia and my Son, I did visit them this morning.”
“Technically, yeah, guess you could say so. Though.. a lotta ‘em were just another December 25th.
Last few years’ve been better. More memorable by far.”
