@F365 Would be curious to know how many passes the centre halves have each game. So often Van Dijk and Konate have the ball in opposition half with the whole team ahead of them. No wonder there is no space

@HangBlaa Totally agree. Line a lot of sports the rules are being made so technical and stringent that there is no leeway for how the players find themselves. They can be analysed in slow motion but the players don’t get too slow it down to react

@HangBlaa Open to being corrected but that’s my understanding. I think the stationary part is considered worse, if he took a step back to absorb the hit, then it is not considered as serious

@MaiaDunphy Hi Maia, instead of going direct to Sky for sports channels, NOW can provide much better value. The “deal” can be renewed each time it is about to expire. You do need to keep on top of it though

@Neacht Would agree that it could be better. The majority of my group, u10, probably don’t know they are AI members. They are Club members and live the group training they do. Approx half enter the races. Those that enter them do love them.

@Neacht My point was that the answer is not to reduce juvenile races. The children I coach get 3 xc races, 3 t-f league + championships. That is not too many. Open up Abbotstown to use by all and hold more events. Could then focus on creating other venues around the country.
