@RealGregKroes If your files open and play as expected in REDCINE-X PRO, then we'd recommend contacting Apple Support since it seems to be an FCPX specific issue.
Another case appeared to be an incompatible GPU. We'd recommend double checking the latest FCPX system requirements.
